NIMKI RECIPE
(Namakpare) Nimki can be stored in air tight container for a long time. It is also known as Flour Cracker.

Serves 2

       Ingredients How to?

  • 250 gm Flour
  • 2 Cups oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • Salt to taste

  1. Roast the cumin in low oven heat for a while and then grind it.
  2. Combine cumin and salt with the flour and knead the flour mixture with 2-3 tsp oil and water to dough.
  3. Roll the dough flat and fold it and roll it and flat it again.
  4. Repeat the procedure one more time.
  5. Cut the dough into the diamond shape, 2 triangles on top of each other.
  6. Make them approximately 1 inch in size.
  7. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium flame.
  8. Fry the diamond shaped nimki in the hot oil till brownish.
  9. Flour Cracker is ready.
