Lettuce Cups

Preparation time : 15 minutes *No cooking * Serves 15.

Ingredients How To ?
  • A few  lettuce leaves
  • 2 teacups chopped fruits (apples, pears, watermelon, melon)
  • 1 teacup grated carrots
  • 2 teacups curd cheese dip
  1. Place the lettuce leaves and carrots in separate bowls of cold water for about 30 minutes. Drain.
  2. Tear the lettuce leaves into small pieces, approximately square in size.
  3. Arrange the lettuce pieces in one corner of a large tray, fruits in another and carrots in a third, leaving sufficient margin in the center.
  4. Put the cheese dip in a bowl and place this bowl in the center of the tray.

    * Let the guests help themselves by putting some fruit on lettuce leaves, some dip as a dressing on top and finally sprinkling grated carrots thereon.

Health Information:The Vitamin a provided by raw carrots is complemented by the proteins from the dressing in this excellent low-calorie cocktail snack.
