Vegetable Dalia

Preparation Time:
10 minutes
Cooking Time:
15 minutes

  • 2 cups roasted chana dal (daria)
  • 2 carrots
  • 250 gms green peas
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 medium sized onions
  • 2 tsp ginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
  • coriander (dhania) and tomatoes to garnish
  • salt and chilli powder to taste
  • 1 tsp garam masala

How To ?
  • Peel and chop the carrots into cubes.
  • Peel the peas.
  • Boil the vegetabes and dalia
  • Together in 3 cups water.
  • Peel and chop onion finely and shallow fry in vegetable oil till slightly golden brown.
  • Add ginger garlic paste.
  • Fry for 2 mins and then add
  • Salt and pepper.
  • Mix well and add the boiled vegetable dalia mixture.
  • Mix well and serve.
  • Garnish with dhania and tomatoes.

Eat protein at every meal, including breakfast.
Eliminate wheat- and flour-based products for the time being.
Reduce starch to one portion a day, and don't eat that portion during your evening meal.
Apples, pears, plums and berries all are good choices. Bananas are not.
Reduce or eliminate dairy for the time being, especially cow's milk.
