Curd Shorba
Preparation time:
  10 minutes   * Cooking time: 10 minutes   * Serves 4

Ingredients How To ?
  • 4 teacups fresh curds
  • 1 teaspoon plain flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoon skim milk
  • 2 teaspoons ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2 chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)
  • 2 to 4 teaspoons chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander for topping
  1. Beat the curds, plain flour, turmeric powder and milk together
  2. Heat the ghee and fry the cumin seeds until they crackle
  3. Add the onion, green chilies and ginger and fry again for a few seconds
  4. Add the curds mixture and boil for a few minutes. Add the tomatoes and cucumber and cook for 1 minute
  5. Top with the chopped coriander

* Serve Hot
