Moong Dal and Spinach Soup

Preparation time:   5 minutes   * Cooking time: 15 minutes   * Makes 5 cups

Ingredients How To ?
  • 2 tablespoons moong dal
  • 1 teacup chopped spinach
  • 1 teacup skim milk
  • Salt to taste
  1. Add 4 teacups of water to the moong dal and put to cook in a pressure cooker
  2. Add the spinach, milk and salt and boil for 5 to 10 minutes

* Serve Hot

Health Information: Rich in Vitamins A and K, essential amino acids and folic acid, this healthy soup is low in calories and is an appropriate accompaniment to a heavier main dish
