Tips for changing family diet

  • Use a non-stick cooking utensils to reduce fat while cooking.

  • Use vegetable fats for cooking instead of ghee or butter.

  • Increase the fiber content of foods by including whole wheat flour, sprouts, brown rice etc.

  • Make all the changes gradually

  • Eat lots of fresh fruits & vegetables instead of canned fruits & vegetables.

  • Avoid foods with preservatives & artificial flavors & additives.
